Poor sleep is linked to obesity, heart disease, stroke, cancer, and dementia. So, as hard as it may seem to some (and easy to others) you should aim to sleep 7 or more hours each night for a healthy balanced lifestyle.
Exercise is Medicine
Keeping your body moving throughout the day, helps your heart, mind and body. It doesn’t need to be a 20 km run, or picking up 40 kg weights (in each hand) the journey of a healthy lifestyle starts with one baby step after the other. Go for a walk with your kids and significant other on the beach, ride your bike along the promenade, or Have a swim, there is so much you can do.

Do things you love, practice love for yourself and others! Choose gratitude over a victim mentality, make time for family and friends, and practice being mindful and kind. Live in the present moment and set healthy boundaries with yourself and others.
